Comparison Free Range Vs Industrial Farm (Mass) Produces

Experience in working with 70/30 beef trim and farm mass-produced pork and free-range pork yielded the following results.

-> Mass fed Chicken and Beef have lower protein counts.

-> Conversely, free range animals have higher protein levels

-> Beef trim are usually added to increase TME values in chicken/ beef mixed meats.

-> Free Range pork meat was generally much more difficult to work with.
