Cape Point Hike

This post is part of The Art of Living series from Bacon and the Art of Living.  Chapter 99, where this is posted, is an addendum to the book.  In the “Art of Living section, I write about family and the many great experiences we had as part of “the art of living.”  Most of these experiences make it into the main body of the work.

Minette and Eben’s epic hike from Cape Point to the gate of Cape of Good Hope reserve along the False Bay side.

The fynbos was amazing!  It is the natural shrubland or heathland vegetation occurring in a small belt of the Western Cape of South Africa, mainly in winter rainfall coastal and mountainous areas with a Mediterranean climate  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fynbos)

Time:  5 hours.  Amazing views!  Epic hike!
